Meet the Executive Director/CEO
Dear Aspen Public Schools Community,
We are excited to share some exciting updates with you. In the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, our organization will celebrate its 20th year! Today, Aspen Pubilc Schools is home to approximately 850 transitional kindergarten to grade 11 students. In the spring of 2025, we will graduate our first senior class at Aspen Ridge Public, located at City Center. In 2023, Aspen Ridge received its WASC accreditation. We are so proud of our hard-working students and staff for this great accomplishment!
We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support and collaboration of our Community Schools partners, whose contributions enrich the educational experience of our students. Our Community Schools councils meet regularly at all three campuses. Our Community Engagement Initiative Council (CEI) also collaborates with school districts across the state, sharing best practices.
Our CEI team has 12 members and includes Aspen administration, support staff, students, and parents. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered their time for this work.
In the fall of 2024, both Aspen Valley (TK-6) and Aspen Meadow (TK-6) will continue to offer Extending Learning Opportunity Programs (ELOP). These programs occur after school and during vacation breaks and include visual and performing arts, tutoring, special presentations, field trips, and sports.
At Aspen Public Schools, we recognize and celebrate the diverse learning styles, interests, talents, and cultures. We strive to offer a rich variety of meaningful learning experiences and programs that will inspire and support our students and their families.
